Stacey Crumrine

Founder of Positively Kids

Stacey, a mother of two and Psychology graduate from Florida State University, is the founder of Positively Kids.

Stacey first learned about the power of positive thinking while in college. Fortunately, as she soon came to know, individuals have the power to choose to think positive thoughts about a situation – instead of negative ones. Not only that, Stacey realized that everyone has the power to rule their own perspectives – as opposed to being ruled by them. But, perhaps the most striking bit of knowledge of all, was that the sooner these skills are learned, the more likely an individual is to become a positive thinker by habit. Instead of needing to remind oneself to be positive – that person just is.

When Stacey had children of her own, she grew increasingly more passionate about teaching the power of positivity to them from the start. That way, she hoped, they wouldn’t have to retrain their psyches to think positively as adults – something she struggled to do herself for a number of years.

It was then that the idea of Captain Positive came to her.

Stacey wanted her children to learn to think positive in a fun and engaging way – and to understand how to use affirmations. As the Captain Positive series began to take shape, Stacey also found that other parents were just as interested in teaching their own children the power of positive thinking.

Today, Stacey is connecting her message of positive realignment with thousands of families – specifically, children. Stacey is in constant collaboration with prominent child psychologists, parenting experts and coaches, teachers and parents as she and her team work to develop new and exciting entertainment products that teach kids the healthy coping skills and positive thinking at an early age. Above all else, Stacey knows that that a positive attitude will always prevail and increase the quality of a person’s life – and those around them.

The drive to help impact people’s lives in an amazing way is prevalent in everything he gets involved in.

Today, Dr. Wetter has the opportunity to help children and adults seeking solutions to help them overcome the obstacles that are presented in their lives. He actively does this at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego and at The Applied Neuropsychology Institute. Dr. Wetter’s passion for exploring the mind and human potential have really helped Positively Kids give Captain Positive the tools he needed to deliver a powerful message regarding the impact that positive words do have on children.
